How I
got my E – Residency Identity Card. Procedure explained.
I travel most of the year. I work online, so I do not need
to go to an office.
I discovered the Estonian E – Residency program. After
a ton of research, I decided that I would apply to become an E-Resident of
Estonia, like 100,000 e – Residents from 176 countries worldwide.
Why Estonia? Their E-Resident program provides access to a
border less digital nation. They are like the Silicon Valley of Europe. They are
the most digitally advanced society in the world. Apart from being an
advanced digital nation, being an E-Resident would allow me to run a company
remotely (since I now travel the world full-time) and utilize banking services
within the EU. This means my business would have all the benefits and
protection the same as any EU company. Plus, it would be easier to deal with
businesses globally with all the fintech solutions available for an EU-based
business.

Step to Apply for E – residency IDENTITY CARD
How to
apply for E - residency ESTONIA
The application is online and quite simple and it took me
less than 15 minutes to do. Just follow the instructions and upload a copy of
your passport and a some documents. Answer a few questions. There are several locations worldwide
(Estonian embassies) you can choose for your pickup location and I selected Ankara - Turkey.
There are many pick up points: Abu Dhabi - Egypt - China - Kazakhstan - India - Singapore - South Korea - Bulgaria - Croatia - Romania - Slovakia - Georgia - Germany - Spain and many more.
One of the questions asked in the application form is
“Describe your main motivations to become an e-resident”. This has to be perfect;
your success depends on it. So I hired someone to do this for me – aryline380@gmail.com and she gave me some tips to upload my documents and
evaluate my CV. She also walked me over the application form by sending screen shots of the complete application form. She is a professional, so she did it very well. The official
application fee for me was Euro 100 + Euro 20, so I successfully paid through
my Visa Card online. Note: The official fee may differ a little, it
depends on the pickup location.

GET THE CARD
It took me 5 weeks to learn that my resident card was ready and that I could finally pick it up. To obtain my E-Resident card, I went
to the Estonian Embassy in Ankara - Turkey. No questions were asked; it only took ten minutes.

Benefits of Registering your Company In Estonia
- Tax burden reduction. The main
advantage of having a company registered in Estonia is a zero tax on
undistributed profit. The tax on distributed profit is 20%. Please bear in
mind that Estonia is not considered an offshore jurisdiction nor a tax
haven so your Estonian company will be a reputable one.

reinvestment. As you do not have to pay any tax on undistributed profit,
you are going to have more money remaining for reinvestment into the

this point, you might want to travel to Estonia, arrange a meeting with a
