Requirements:
- - To qualify for a teaching position, applicants should
hold a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a preference for English.
- - Additionally, a teaching qualification such as CELTA,
DELTA, TEFL (120 hours), or TESOL is required.
- - A minimum of one year of teaching experience. No
experience for Assistant Teacher jobs.
- - A strong command of written and spoken English is
essential.
- - Prospective teachers should also demonstrate
flexibility in adapting to a new working culture while respecting the rich
traditions of Uzbekistan.
Responsibilities:
- - As a teacher in the public schools of Uzbekistan, you
will have 20 contact hours per week.
- - Collaboration with assistant teachers and co-teachers
is encouraged to create an engaging learning environment.
- - You will be responsible for planning and preparing
resources for your lessons, conducting workshops for local teachers twice
per academic year, and providing constructive feedback on students’ oral
and written work.
- - Monitoring students’ progress at the end of each term
is also a key responsibility.
Salary Package and Benefits:
The Ministry of Preschool and School

Salaries range from $1300 to $3000,
depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, the following benefits
